Whose Sign Is it Anyway?

A SapientNitro Accelerated Prototyping (SNAP) Project

Background

SNAP Accelerated Prototyping and involves pairing internal employees to conceive and create fully functional prototypes in two weeks. After two days of creating concepts, the team presents to a leadership committee to get buy-in at a higher level. Once given the green light, the makers have two weeks to create a fully functional prototype. This is all done within a budget of $500.

The Ask

Use gesture technology to create something useful for sports fanatics.

Initial Brainstorm

10 volunteers gathered into a room for 2 hours to brainstorm ideas. I learned that I don’t know very much about sports fanatics. So we asked the experts - the sports fanatics themselves. We learned that what sets a fan apart from a fanatic is their knowledge of statistics in their sport.
