Background

Enovate Medical powers intelligent care through the first workstation solution that connects nurses, patients, management, and IT staff. Enovate Medical manufactures and implements intelligent workstation solutions and services that improve clinical workflows and facilitate realtime Electronic Health Record (EHR) charting at the point of care.

Background

The Enovate team was bringing a new workstation to market, including a touch screen display that controlled the workstation. I worked with the team to create the touch screen display through developing possible interaction patterns, and user interface needs for each page.The workstations were traceable through a mobile application and desktop application, which I also created UI on. All applications were user tested with nurses, doctors, and medical professionals to gain better understanding on product improvements. This feedback was implemented in the design and workstation.

Deliverables

Through the design engagement, I worked with the team to create all assets, pages, and interaction patterns on 2 desktop applications, a mobile application, and the touch screen display. The project also included producing a user manual to support the products, and ongoing design asset support.

Results

Workstation’s have been used in hundreds of hospitals, and at other technical facilities such asAmazon. These workstations have improved consumers ergonomic needs, allowed users to understand charge levels, set custom preferences for sitting and standing height, as well as dispense medication by using a simple pin code system.  This is the most popular system that Enovate Medical now sells.
